MasterToolz v3.0 Release
Here's an update I wasn't expecting to make, but turned out to be a much needed update. This update adds in a ton of new features and makes the tool overall more stable, but the main selling point for v3.0 of this tool is the fact you can record demos of yourself and then play them back later on command, as well as being able to send your demos to others to view. If you're coming from v2.0 of MasterToolz, you MUST re-do the installation process fully. Have fun! See all of the new features and changelogs below:
New features:
- Place visual markers
- Toggle free camera mode
- Record/playback demos of yourself that can be shared to anyone
- Quickly skip or go back a stock level
- Show jump locations
- Auto-complete stock level
- Free camera warps player
- Perfect boss RNG manipulator
- Make uncompressed screenshots
- Highlight high object detail actors
- Show static mesh collisions
- Custom temporary binds only loaded while using MasterToolz
- Automatic tool integrity check
- Fixed various bugs
Changelogs:
- Added 12 new custom controls
- QuickRestartLevel: Pressing this quickly restarts the current level
- RestartLevel: Pressing this restarts the current level (fully, instead of partially)
- PlaceMarker: Pressing this places down a marker at your feet that you can see
- ClearAllMarkers: Pressing this clears all markers from the map
- ToggleFreeCam: Pressing this toggles a free camera hack, allowing you to look around the map without playing as your pawn
- RecordDemo: Pressing this records a demo to slot 1 and saves the recording when pressed again
- PlayDemo: Pressing this plays back a demo in the current level, showing a ghost-form of yourself running the path you ran
- ClearAllDemos: Pressing this clears all demos
- SkipALevel: Pressing this will skip the current KnowWonder stock level you're on and continue to the next map in the series of maps
- GoBackALevel: Pressing this does the opposite of SkipALevel
- Screenshot: Pressing this takes an uncompressed screenshot in a .bmp format and puts it in your ..\System\ folder
- ToggleHODHighlight: Pressing this toggles a highlight of all relevant high object detail actors
- Added 4 new general variables
- FreeCamSpeed: Determines the speed at which the camera moves while using the free camera mode
- GhostOpacity: How visible is the demo playback ghost's model
- HODHighlightTexture: The distinct texture that is used for the HOD highlighting
- MapToUnloadInto: Determines which map is opened once the tool is unloaded
- Added 9 new launch options
- ShowJumpLocations: If true, places a jump marker for each time you input a jump in the map temporarily
- AutoCompleteLevel: If true, auto-completes any KnowWonder stock levels on level start
- FreeCamOffWarpsPlayer: If true, when turning off the free camera mode, you are warped to where your camera was last
- PerfectBossRNG: If true, the PIB boss fight and FGM boss fight are manipulated to have perfect RNG
- RecordDemoOnStart: If true, a demo will begin to automatically record to slot 1 when any level is opened
- NotifyWhenDemoFinishes: If true, displays a message when the current demo playing ends
- DisableGhostVisuals: If true, the demo ghost will not appear as a ghost (opacity still applies)
- ShowStaticMeshCollisions: If true, when pressing the ShowRelevantCollisions key, static mesh collisions are also shown
- LoadOptionalControls: If true, loads in all optional controls as temporary binds
- Can now store 6 custom warps instead of 3
- The jump scoring system now accurately accounts for the true jump velocity instead of using a pre-determined value (much more accurate)
- When a warp fails due to the map you're currently in not matching with the warp's map, the message onscreen will now tell you which map it was made on
- Fixed 3 critical bugs with the jump scoring system that would falsely state a frame-perfect jump occurred (1 was caused by movers, 2 were caused by slopes). If a slope is abused to try to "get a frame-perfect jump," the jump is considered whiffed by default
- Fixed an oversight where when using ScoreJumpAccuracy and finishing a race (via time triggers), a jump score would easily override the segment time
- Fixed a bug where when inproperly loading the tool via an old save game that you couldn't unload the tool to fix it and were forced to restart the game
- Fixed a bug where time trigger visibility would be disabled when toggling relevant collisions
- Fixed a bug where warps would not persist across sessions due to it thinking the map wasn't the same even if it was the same
- Fixed a bug where the tool loading sound would not properly play
- Fixed a bug where the jump visualizer bar would go into the negatives majorly at random
- Fixed a potentially critical bug with the player tracker
- Improved the tool loading and unloading process significantly by adjusting the maps it loads by default
- Renamed "General_Features" to "General_Variables" from within the configuration file
- Majorly improved... something :)
