MGame v1.1 Release
Here's a update for the MGame library, which was released in the last update. If you're not already aware, this library can easily be installed through the Addon Packs folder inside this download. The reason you'll likely want this as a mapper is due to the amount of power it gives you as both a mapper and a scripter. If you want to learn more, check the readme for this mod in the download.
Changelogs [MGame (.u Mod)]
- Added 8 new action types for the AI scripting language (15 custom actions in total now)
- Added additional functionality for MACTION_IfGetProp (no longer restricted to floats)
- Added a new console command: SummonCoords (spawns an actor at the specified coordinates)
- Fixed many GetActionString() errors returning empty strings
If you want a quick explanation of what this update of MGame has over v1.0 (and why you should update it): support for weighted randomness, simple counters/loops, better methods of getting data for conditions and built-in logic gates (instead of using 12-20 actions).
Hopefully MGame gets picked up by more aspiring mappers, as it's a very helpful library of code that makes nearly everything you'd ever want possible. If you have any suggestions for this library, please let me know and I may add them. Anyway, have fun!
